Yulungchuan is a natural mountain creek in Luye Yong’an Community, Taitung. With a few steps down, the clear stream water flow can be seen. Next to Tainan and Mengjia, Lugang is the second greatest historical town in Taiwan with at least a 350 year history. It is located in Changhua County in central Taiwan. Unlike Tainan’s historical with modern mixes, Lugang has no high-rise buildings. It has only Quan and Zhang regional buildings with Baroque-styled architecture.

We came to Weiweijia Persimmon Orchard (味衛佳柿餅工廠 ) in Xinpu Township, Hsinchu County (新竹縣新埔鎮) in an early morning of mid September. Although I hardly eat persimmon, the beautiful scene of drying persimmons in Taiwan is something I did not want to miss. The color and fragrance of persimmon, and friendly people in the orchard left us an unforgettable memory!

Nanpu Village is located in Hsinchu County, and one of the few villages that has irrigation canal and keep the Hakka sacrifice culture. “Shiye Festival” (Stone Lord) can only be seen in Nanpu. Residents in the Taomi Community call frog as “Boss”, and this is not a joke. Because this “Boss” makes Taomi a model of the ecological land and tourist attraction place after the devastating 921 earthquake.
